This game is made by Tecmo in the year 1987. This is an action-game. With the stick you move, with the A-button you jump, with B you throw your weapon like a yo-yo. The screen scrolls horizontal. In the first level you see a nice sunset. In another level you can climb. One level you see the player from above. In the status-screen you can see your strengths and your items.
This game is good. The story is, that an evil lord has taken the crown of the lands. And a legend says, that a dead hero comes back to defeat the monsters and the bad king. You named as Rygar are this hero. You can find capsules to get more energy back. Another name for this game is "Argos no Senshi". This game was first a coin-op. But this game on NES is other, it is an action-adventure, not only beat-em-up.
The controls are good, it is good to play. There is music in the game.
