This game is made by Sega in the year 1990. This is a basketball-game. With the stick you move, with C is passing, with B is throwing on basket. The screen scrolls horizontal. There is a 2-Player-Mode. You can select between eight teams of the NBA. You can decide the formation and tactics. You can play an exhibition-game or a tournament. When is a dunking a special view is shown.
This is a nice game. The sprites and the animations look very good. There are nice sequences in the breaks of the game. "Pat Riley Basketball" is another name of this game. Pat Riley was the coach of the Los Angeles Lakers at the time of the game's release. Like regulation basketball, there are four quarters, but the player can set the length of the quarters (five, twelve, or twenty minutes per quarter). I have taken always the team of L.A., they are very good.
The controls are ok, it is good to play. There is music in the whole game.
