This game is made by Taito in the year 1988. This is an action-game in a fantasy-world. With the stick you move, with the A-Button you hit with your sword and with B is jump. This game was first a coin-op. In that game you must rescue a princess from the evil. Sometimes you must climb up hills or jump over water-areas. The enemies have also a sword which are attacking you. There are 7 levels.
This is a nice game. The sprites are good painted and the backgrounds look nice. But there is a problem with jumping off a liana. Although the animation could be better it looks all fine. You start in a wilderness but not long and you are in a cave. By using the joystick in combination with either button, the player can determine the height of Rastan's jumps, as well as the direction he swings his weapon (including downwards while jumping). The game uses a health gauge system along with limited lives, although certain obstacles (such as falling into a body of water or being crushed by a spiked ceiling) will instantly kill Rastan regardless of how much health he has left. The player can pick up any item by touching it, as well as new weapons by striking them with his current one.
The controls are good, it is good to play. There is music in the game.
