This game is made by Sega in the year 1987. This is an action-game. With the stick you move, with A you jump, with B you shoot. First this game was a coin-op. There can play 4 players. You must go through a base which is controlled by robots. The levels are scrolling horizontal. You must defeat the endboss which has the key to the exit of the level.

This game is good. Players control either Joe (yellow), Mary (red), Lee (blue), or Edgar (green) across a number of sideways-scrolling levels. As well as being a stand-alone arcade cabinet, Sega also offered a two-player conversion kit known as Quartet 2. Both Quartet and Quartet 2 are identical, however the latter only supports up to two players on screen, while the former allows for all four. Some of Quartet's music was recycled for Spider-Man: The Video Game. Quartet seems to have come about by taking Midway’s Gauntlet and turning it into a side-scrolling shooter. While the basics – the four player simultaneous action, the draining life-meter, the monster generators – are all clearly inspired by it, Quartet drastically reworks all of these concepts into something unique. Mary, the sole lady and clad in red, has a bazooka.
The controls are good, it is good to play. There is music in the whole game.

I played it the second half of April 2020
