This game is made by Sega in the year 1989. Here you are in a fantasy-world and must fight with a sword. With the stick you move, with A you hit the sword, with B you jump. When you capture a monster you can ride it. The monster you ride can also fight, but if you are hitten you lose your monster. The backgrounds are changing every level. The golden axe is an item which was stolen by the evil of this game. "Golden Axe" has six levels.
This game is nice. The best is to capture a monster and ride it. Sometimes there comes dwarfs, when you hit them, they leave bottles. Collect them and later you can use it like a big bomb. To use the big bomb you must press both fire-buttons. You have unlimited continues. This game was first a coin-op. The sprites are nice and big and there is no flickering on the screen.
The controls are good, it is good to play. There is music in the whole game.
