This game is made by Konami in the year 1989. This is a shooter with spaceships. You fly with the stick, with the one button you shoot, with the other you activate the extra you collected. When you activate the first extra you get speed-up, the second is missile. When you collect more extras until you activate it you get better weapons. The checkpoints are very friendly set. Some bigger enemies need more than one shot. Some enemies fly diagonal.
This is a follower of a classic game-serie. It makes much fun to fly around there. For the missiles you need a third button. The name of the star fighter is Vic Viper. The enemy is called Bacterion Empire. 1991 it was released for the SNES. The extras you get when you kill an enemy. You can increase your ship's speed, outfit it with secondary-fire missiles, and split your primary gun to fire in two directions.
The controls are good, it is good to play. There is music in the game.
